Update on boundary wall works at South Ruislip Vent Shaft, Victoria Road

What we are doing

We wrote to you on 27 June 2024, to let you know that the construction of the new wall along the western boundary was delayed due to a redesign of the wall foundations and that works would restart in August 2024.

Works have now resumed. These works are digging out old foundations and building new ones. Once the foundations are completed, we will start to build the concrete wall and install new fencing. The new foundations should take around four weeks. These works are planned around other ongoing works on site.

You may experience increased construction noise during these works. Noise and vibration monitoring will be in place throughout these works. We will use water mists to reduce dust generated by our construction activities.

Every effort is being taken to ensure that these works are carried out in the least impactful way. We will ensure that disruption is kept to a minimum.
