Overnight Closures:
The road will be closed overnight between 21:00 and 06:00 on the dates listed below:

What we are doing
Transfer of equipment from the A446 Lichfield Road to our compound, following completion of the Water Orton Viaducts spanning the A446 Lichfield Road.
What to expect
• Remaining works will be completed overnight
• Access for pedestrians and cyclists will remain in place throughout the road closure.
• Access to businesses and residents will remain throughout the road closure.
• Bus routes will be diverted accordingly; check bus company website for more information.
• Updates on any changes will be communicated in advance.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
