What we are doing
What we are doing – Sheet piling
We wrote to you on 26 January 2024, to let you know that we would be installing sheets piles at the western boundary of our site from 5 February 2024. This is in preparation for the new permanent wall construction.
Due to further delays with preceding works, we will start installing the sheets piles from 19 February 2024.
We will use a push pile method to place the piles into the ground. We have prepared the ground and the sheet piles beforehand to ensure that the piles are installed into the ground with minimal noise or vibration.
What to expect
During the works, we will be using excavators, mobile plant and piling support vehicles which will be visible on site.
How the works might affect you
You may experience increased construction noise during this period. Noise and vibration monitoring will be in place throughout these works.
We will use water mists to reduce dust generated by construction activities.
