What we are doing – Vegetation Clearance
We wrote to you on 9 January 2024, to let you know that from 7am to 5pm on 21 January, we would be removing weeds and bushes close to the Mandeville Road site adjacent to the railway, (see map below).

These works were not completed within the allocated time so we need to continue on 28 January 2024. These works should take approximately 10 hours to complete and need to be carried out on a Sunday when the railway is less busy.

We will use small hand tools, including limited use of strimmer’s and hedge trimmers. We will also use noise reducing barriers where possible to help keep noise to a minimum. We will work as efficiently as possible, while keeping our work areas safe and tidy.

We would like to apologise for any disruption or inconvenience this may cause. Every effort is being taken to ensure that these works are carried out in the least impactful way.
