From mid-June 2022, we will start excavation of the crossover box. This work is expected to continue until mid-2023. These works will include concrete breaking, excavations and removal of excavated materials; and the construction of the capping beam and props (including placement of steel and concrete). A map showing the location of these works is included on page 3.
Other works ongoing within the Victoria Road Crossover Box site include:
• Construction of the ventilation shaft including secondary lining works (placement of steel reinforced and concrete pours)
• Completion of the diaphragm wall (supportive ground wall)
• Construction of working platforms so support ongoing and future works
