What we are doing

Update on Works planned on Kilburn High Road
We recently wrote to you about a series of ground investigations on the footpath on Kilburn High Road.
The surveys were due to take place from 12 to 25 September 2022 but have now been rescheduled. The works will now take place 20 September to 2 October 2022.

The ground investigations will consist of digging a temporary trench to confirm the location of utilities under the surface of the road. The investigations will help us to understand and aid the design of the new railway and the best ways to protect or divert any utilities during construction. Your utility services will not be affected during these works and access to businesses and homes will be available at all times.

The ground investigations will take place between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm Saturdays, if required. We will use noise reducing barriers where possible to help minimise any noise disruption to the local community, working as efficiently as possible whilst keeping our work areas safe and tidy.

How this might affect you
To ensure the safety of the public and our staff, temporary changes will be in place on Kilburn High Road (shown on the following page).
A partial footway closure will be in place on Kilburn High Road.
