What we are doing
We are continuing our utility diversion works on Hampstead Road in preparation for the Hampstead Road bridge extension works. Below is an update on ongoing and upcoming works.
- Footpath and lane closures on Hampstead Road close to Cardington Street – 2 to 13 March
- Footpath and lane closures on Lidlington Place and Hampstead Road close to Ampthill Estate. – Ongoing till 31 March
- Footpath closure on Hampstead Road close to Varndell Street – 16 March to 24 April
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
