What we are doing
Following our site safety stand down, we have now begun a safe restart of works across our sites in Euston Approaches.
We need to assess and backfill a borehole in the footpath on the corner of Gloucester Avenue and Parkway ahead of the tunnel-boring machine (TBM) passing through the area. On 30 and 31 October, we will fill in a borehole on Gloucester Avenue and reinstate the area with paving slabs. There may be periods of increased noise, and we will place acoustic barriers around the borehole to reduce the impact of our works. There will be a partial footpath closure to provide space for the necessary machinery.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
