What we are doing
Fiddlers Field is closed from the Station Road and Quainton Road crossroads to allow construction of the new bridge across both the HS2 and Network Rail lines. This new realignment replacing Fiddlers Field Road will open 31 May 2026.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026.
