What we are doing
Utility diversions
Ahead of constructing the new HS2 structures on Duddeston Mill Road we will need to divert a BT line which currently passes through our work area. We had previously planned to carry out this diversion work from Monday 25 July to Friday 9 September. However due to emergency works taking place on Saltley Viaduct we have had to delay some of our work on Duddeston Mill Road. We now expect to recommence this work on Tuesday 20 September and will continue until Friday 21 October.
To carry out this work we will need to excavate a section of Duddeston Mill Road and relocate the utility before then resurfacing the excavated section.
