Vegetation clearance and invasive species treatment

What we are doing

We need to clear various pieces of vegetation around the back of certain properties on Wells House Road. We will be doing some works along the railway on Sunday 2 November, but these will be completed before 10pm. This will mean the North London line of the Overground is shut on Sunday 2 November.

We will use strimmer’s or hedge cutters to remove vegetation. In some instances, vegetation will also be cleared from fences. Checks will be completed to ensure fauna is not disturbed or harmed. No access to your garden will be required to carry out the works.

We will make every effort to prevent cut vegetation from falling onto your property and are aware that invasive species have been identified in some parts of the area to be cleared. We will undertake appropriate measures to control and prevent the spread of these plants where they are present within working areas.
