Victoria Road Crossover Box site plantroom piling works

What we are doing

We will be drilling and installing reinforced concrete piles into the ground. This work helps strengthen the ground and provides solid foundations for future plantroom construction (a plantroom is a building containing electrical and other systems).

Monday 2 February to Friday 27 February 2026 7am to 6pm

What to expect

You may experience some daytime noise from the excavator, piling rig and crane, as well as general construction noise from concrete pours and other site activities. Where possible and if required, we will use noise reducing barriers and dust suppression measures to help minimise any disruption.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
