What we are doing

Weekend works in Camden Cutting South – from 12 October to December 2024

We previously informed you we would work weekends until the end of the year to complete the extension of Granby Terrace bridge. We are now planning to use the same weekends to also work on the construction of the east capping beam within Camden Cutting South. This is a reinforced concrete structure that will form part of the future Euston Scissor Cut, a concrete box which the trains will run through.

From 12 October until end of the year we will work extended hours, from 8am to 5pm, on two non-consecutive Saturdays each month until end of the year. The dates for these will change each month but we will not work two weekends in a row.

We will limit all noisy works to before 1pm and monitor noise levels closely to ensure we are working within the approved limits. We will use acoustic barriers where possible to reduce noise levels.

We apologise for any disruption these works may cause.

Overnight works at track level in Camden Cutting North – 12 to 13 October 2024
We need to install new fences between our worksite in Camden Cutting and the Network Rail tracks. We previously informed you this would take place on Saturday 5October. We will now carry out this work on Saturday 12 October between midnight and 5am.

For safety, we can only install these fences when the tracks below are not in use. We do not expect these works to be noisy.
