What we are doing
As part of our Park Village East planter maintenance responsibilities, we will be pouring water mixed with non-harmful drain tracing dye into the section of the planter next to our lorry lay-by, during week commencing 15 December. The mixture will not affect the vegetation within the planter. The purpose of these works is to identify all the drainage holes in the Park Village East wall and ensure they are working.
We will require a small excavator on the footpath which will be used to dig the area within the planter to enable us to pour the dye in. We expect this activity to take approximately one day to complete. We will work from Monday to Friday during core hours, from 8am to 6pm.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
