Update: Works on Park Village East north

What we are doing

As part of our Park Village East planter maintenance responsibilities, we need to identify all of the drainage holes in the Park Village East wall to ensure they are working correctly. We will be pouring water mixed with non-harmful drain tracing dye into the planter. The mixture will not affect the vegetation within the planter.

We previously informed you that these works would take place during week commencing 15 December, however due to equipment availability, this has now been rescheduled to week commencing 2 February. We will need to use equipment to remove material from the planter before pouring water into the existing drainage. We will require approximately three parking bay suspensions and a footpath closure opposite 22 to 26 Park Village East.

We expect this activity to take up to three days to complete. There may be periods of increased noise, however we will install acoustic blankets to reduce impacts. We will work from Monday to Friday during core hours, from 8am to 6pm.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
