What we are doing
Update to previous AWN on A41 Fleet Marston
What are we doing?
As part of our continued preparatory works for our internal haul roads and site access, it is necessary to introduce further traffic management on the A41, near Fleet Marston.
Temporary traffic lights will be in use to enable our vehicles to safety cross the A41 until the roundabout can be completed. We expect the traffic management will be in place until Christmas. To keep minimise the inconvenience the traffic lights will be used intermittently between 9am and 3.30pm and for a very short time only before allow any traffic build up to clear.
Further to these works, commencing at the end of November, EKFB will also be carrying out test piling for the Thames Valley Viaduct. This work is necessary to find out more about the land we are working on and the load baring capability, this work will have no impact on the A41.
When will these works take place?
Traffic management will be in place from 9.00am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday until Thursday 23 December.
Traffic management will also be in place on Saturday 20 November from 8.00am to 12.00pm.
