What we are doing
Abnormal load deliveries of bridge deck materials to our South Heath Cutting site will be made during the least busy parts of the day for local traffic.
Location
M40 Junction 1, near Beaconsfield to South Heath Great Missenden
Duration
Deliveries will take place between 11pm to 5am between Thursday 3 September and Sunday 6 September 2026.
What to expect
Overnight abnormal load movements using the approved route from M40 Junction 2 to our North Portal site near Great Missenden.
Deliveries will commence from 11pm and finish by 5am each day. These movements will be conducted with police escort to ensure safety.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
