What we are doing

Atlas road utility works

We run the electricity network delivering power to your area and we are currently undertaking a project in your area to upgrade equipment to ensure reliable power supplies for local homes and businesses. The work, in partnership with our contractor Clancy Dowcra Limited, is needed to install electricity cables for the HS2 Project.

Our work should not have any impact on your electricity supply. As part of these works, we are required to carry out some small work outside of normal site hours in order to minimise disruption.

This is due to start on 8th October 2021 with planned working hours of:
• Friday 4pm to 8pm.
• Saturday & Sundays from 8am to 4pm.

We expect to complete these works by the 3 November 2021. During this period, works will be carried out within the footpath crossing the SCS site access.

The works will consist of excavation and ducting installation. As the works progress along the route. We will provide clear signage for pedestrians around the work sites. Access to public transport and bus routes will not be affected by these works.

We will continue to follow government and Public Health England advice to keep our employees, contractors and customers safe and our work will be carried out in line with the latest COVID-19 health and safety guidance. Thank you for maintaining social distance while our teams work in your community.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will make every effort to minimise any impact on your community.
