Closing Curzon Street to all non-construction vehicles

What to expect
We will close Curzon Street from the north end, near the Woodman Pub down to the Cardigan Street junction. This is so we can
safely carry out an increase in ongoing construction works at the site. We will maintain access for emergency vehicles at all times. We are carrying out the work to put the closure in place during the day including weekends to keep disruption to a minimum. Once these works have been completed, Curzon Street will be closed to all non-construction vehicles until further notice.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
