Daytime off-peak closures:
From 09:30am to 15:30pm between Monday 26 October 2026 and Thursday 29 October 2026.
What we are doing
Traffic management will be in place to allow our workforce to safely complete vegetarian clearance work.
What to expect
Low-level noise from our works area.
A fully signed diversion route will be in place during the closure period.
*Please note that access to Packington Lane will be accessible via the A452 Chester Road southbound carriageway only, during these works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
