Additional Information

Behind Our Hoardings
Works are progressing well behind our hoardings, with Phase One of the piling programme (Ref: HS2-EUS-SCP-26-1611) now complete. Gas diversion works on Melton Street and Drummond Street have also been completed, including testing and commissioning. We will soon begin constructing a new internal vehicle route within our site, running parallel to Hampstead Road and Melton Street. Decommissioning works for the former Traction Substation adjacent to Drummond Street are ongoing.

Some activities will take place at night, including concrete pours between approximately 10pm and 5am, due to the proximity of the live railway. Cobourg Street remains closed to vehicles; however, pedestrian access to properties and Euston Station continues to be maintained. Former Maria Fidelis School We are progressing with refurbishment works at the site and will soon begin landscaping works on the perimeter of the building. We anticipate works will be completed late 2026.

Overnight delivery of materials
To facilitate the delivery of materials, we will be conducting intermittent overnight deliveries between 7pm and 7am. This is necessary to accommodate vehicles that are restricted from operating on London roads during daytime hours.

Staff Entrance
From Late May 2026 we will reinstate the staff entrance on Cobourg Street adjacent to Starcross Street.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
