What we are doing
Hampstead Road utility diversion
- We are currently moving the utilities beneath Hampstead Road from the footway to the carriageway, to clear our working area for piling. We expect to continue these works until summer 2022.
- From April to August 2022, utility companies will be working onsite and in front of Addison Lee to join and test utility cables.
- Utility contractors carry out these works overnight and during extended hour weekend works, to reduce the impact on customers. These works will be quiet, and we don’t expect residents to notice.
Maintenance to hoarding on Hampstead Road
- We must carry out regular maintenance to our site hoarding on Hampstead Road
- We carry out hoarding maintenance at night, for safety and to reduce impact on local traffic
Ongoing monitoring in and around the Euston Approaches
- In September 2020, we installed prisms and reflectors on buildings and structures around the Euston Approaches, and installed ground studs on local footways.
- The surveyors visit these locations each week to monitor ground movement in the area around our worksite to make sure movement is within safe limits.
- We will continue to carry out these surveys until the project is complete.
