What we are doing
We need to construct a temporary highway to the side of the current Harvil Road to allow us to start work on the new road realignment of
Harvil Road.
From 29 October to 5 November, we will start work to construct the tie-ins to the current highway. We will asphalt the temporary diversion along Harvil road, including kerbs installation, fencing works on the tie-in points and a new footpath will be constructed at the side of the road.
To safely carry out the works we need to close the road between Skip Lane and the Dogs Trust. During the road closure access will be maintained for residents and emergency services.
How this work might affect you
Harvil Road will be fully closed 24 hours a day from 29 October to 5 November. A diversion will be in place via Moorhall Road / A412 / A40 and will be clearly marked. The location of the closure and the diversion is shown on the next page.
Access to the Dogs Trust will be maintained throughout the works.
