What we are doing
As part of our continued preparatory works, the A422 will be closed overnight for approximately 1 week between Westbury and Turweston. These works are required for the excavation of a utilities trench across the road. The work is needed to provide a new water connection to our A422 south compound.
As the preparatory works will require large plant and machinery, we are required to close this section of road. This is for the safety of road users and our staff. To reduce the inconvenience to road users, this closure will be in place overnight.
The A422 will be closed overnight, 7.00pm to 6.00am, from Monday 11 October to Sunday 17 October, with a diversion in place. We will work to reopen the roads to reduce disruption as soon as possible.
