What we are doing
From the 27 to 30 April 2026, we will be carrying out excavation works in Albert Road, Brent. These works are required for us to install monitoring equipment below to road surface in order to monitor ground movement before, during and after tunnelling works in the area. During the work there will be a footway closure with a pedestrian diversion. We will also need to suspend some parking bays on Albert Road.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
