What we are doing
Following the recent removal of the site entrance and the temporary access road at the junction with A413 Amersham Road, we will be returning to complete line marking and finishing works on the road and footpath.
To manage this work safely we will operate temporary two-way traffic signals.

A413 Amersham Road, Chalfont St Peter.
Duration
Works will take place from 8am to 6pm every day from 3 August to 6 August 2026.
What to expect
- Traffic management will operate at all times during the work but will be manually controlled during daytime working hours to minimise disruption and maintain traffic flow.
- All works will be undertaken from 8am and 6pm.
- Access will be maintained for residents at all times.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
