What we are doing
From 17 August to 22 August 2026 between 9.00am and 4.00pm, London Borough of Ealing and Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) are completing landscaping improvements along the Portal Way verge areas.
Skanska Costain and Strabag Joint Venture (SCS JV), on behalf of HS2, will be helping by undertaking the traffic management.

What to expect
- Eastbound and westbound lane closures on the access road between Victoria Road and Portal Way.
- Cycle lane closure on Victoria Road for the duration of the works.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
