What we are doing
Balfour Beatty Vinci (BBV) is working in partnership with HS2 Ltd to build the new railway in your area. To allow us to keep pedestrians safe whilst we construct the railway, from March 2026 the diversion route will follow the re-aligned Attleboro Lane. This closure is part of the M43 footpath that links Attleboro Lane to Vicarage Lane and new diversion route will be in place until March 2027.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
