What we are doing
Network Rail are improving the existing operational railway and preparing for HS2 to be constructed. This work is vital to provide a safe, reliable and efficient railway.
In order to keep staff safe, Network Rail needs to carry out work at times that cause the least disruption to train services and passengers. This often means carrying out work during weeknights and weekends.
