What we are doing
We will use land outside the formally designated Limits of Land to be Acquired or Used (Act Limits) to create two temporary stockpiles for the storage and management of chalk and topsoil, not exceeding 4 metres in height. This will enable us to work more efficiently within the confines of the South Heath cutting and reduce the amount of lorry movements onsite.
Location
Land adjacent to South Heath cutting, South Heath, near Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire.
Duration
Temporary stockpiling will start in late July 2026 and will be removed by July 2027.
What to expect
- The stockpiles will not be visible to residents and will be removed in July 2027.
- Working hours will be Monday to Friday: 8am – 6pm, Saturday: 8am – 1pm
