What we are doing
As part of the ongoing construction works in the area, we will be carrying out a series of single lane closures along the A47 Heartlands Parkway from August 2026 until the end of the project. This is to ensure the workforce are safe whilst working in the carriageway.
What to expect
A series of lane closures on A47 Heartlands Parkway.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
