B4117 Gilson Road, near Water Orton.

Duration
A full road closure will be in place from 7am on Tuesday 3 November to 6am on Friday 6 November 2026.

What we are doing
These works form part of the Water Orton viaduct construction to install the parapets which are on each side of the viaduct. A closure is required to ensure the safety of the public and our staff.

What to expect
• Access to residents will be maintained throughout the closure, however residents will need to gain access from the Coleshill end of Gilson Road.
• A clearly signed diversion route
• Low level of noise from our machinery
• Pedestrian and cycle access maintained throughout

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
