What we are doing
Excavation and connection works for gas utility diversion.
Location
Along the existing A41 at the Fleet Marston temporary roundabout close to the EKFB compound.
Duration
Monday 24 August to Wednesday 16 September, Monday to Friday (17 days)
Monday 5 October to Thursday 22 October, including weekends (18 days).
What to expect
Two-way, off-peak traffic management, 9:30am to 3pm*.
*There will be one day during the October works period when the lane closure must be kept in place until 4pm, to allow additional time for testing of the gas connection.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
