What we are doing
We will be undertaking some vegetation removal work around the A413, London Road. This is to prepare for the construction of permanent landscaping features and for the final realignment of the A413 next year.
To complete these works safely, we will be required to close the road.

What to expect
- 4 overnight closures of the road between 9pm – 5:30am
- Some noise is expected from the use of machinery overnight, with quieter and busier periods.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
