What we are doing
We will be replacing the current mobile traffic lights, with fixed traffic lights on the A418 EKFB site entrance.
Location
A418 Oxford Road, between Coldharbour roundabout and Stone, opposite EKFB A418 compound site entrance.
Duration
1 day single lane closure, Monday 8 June, 9:30am to 3pm (off peak) 1 night full road closure, Tuesday 9 June to Wednesday 10 June, 10pm to 5am.
What to expect
1 day single lane closure 4-way temporary traffic lights, off peak 9.30am to 3pm. 1 night full road closure, with associated diversion route.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
