What we are doing
A water main connection and associated testing, general verge works and reinstatement.
Location
Aylesbury Road, Waddesdon. Between Waddesdon Hill junction and Waddesdon A41 roundabout.
Duration
Monday 27 April to Saturday 23 May (including weekends).
Road closure 27 to 30 April
Road closure 6 and 19 May
Traffic lights at other times.
What to expect
- A combination of 24 hour full road closures and single lane closures along Aylesbury Road.
- A sign-posted diversion route will be in place during the full road closures.
- Temporary traffic lights will be in place during the single lane closures.
The footway will be closed for the full duration of the works with no pedestrian access available.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
