What we are doing
Since March 2022 Bowood Lane has been closed to enable the construction of Bowood Lane over bridge.
As we progress with our works on the overbridge and in the area, access for motorised vehicles on Bowood Lane will remain restricted. This closure is necessary to ensure the safe completion of our works.

Closure of Bowood Lane for vehicles only.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
