Location
M6-M42 eastbound link road between M6 junction 4a and M42 junction 8.

Duration
The road will be closed for one night from 21:00pm to 06:00am on Friday 20 March.
What we are doing
The works will involve carrying out emergency barrier repairs following a traffic accident, to ensure the health and safety of the public.
What to expect
Low level of noise from our machinery and a clearly signed diversion route.This work is subject to consent with National Highways
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
