What we are doing
We are starting the final phase of the road realignment to connect the new section of the A43 with the existing carriageway. This work will involve installing signage, resurfacing the road, and applying new white lining.
Please note that these activities are subject to the necessary consents.

What to expect
A section of the A43 carriageway in one direction will be closed in July to facilitate the tie-in of the new A43 realignment over the bridge.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
