What we are doing

B4114 Birmingham Road, Coleshill
Duration
A single lane closure on the B4114. The lane closure has been extended and will now be in place from 6am Monday 18 May to 6pm Monday 1 June 2026. This closure will no longer take place off peak.
What we are doing
Preparation works to install street lighting and tarmacking.
What to expect
• The lane closures will be in place from 9am to 3:30pm each day and lifted at the end of each shift.
• Our workforce may be on-site up to one hour before and after to set up and secure our equipment
• Low-level of noise from our machinery
• Access for pedestrians and cyclists will remain in place throughout the traffic management.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
