Duration
A single lane closure on the B4114. The lane closure will be in place from 6am Monday 18 May to 6pm Friday 29 May 2026. This closure will no longer be able to be undertaken off peak.
What we are doing
Preparation works to install street lighting and complete resurfacing of the road.
What to expect
• Our workforce may be on-site up to one hour before and after to set up and secure our equipment
• Low-level of noise from our machinery
• Access for pedestrians and cyclists will remain in place throughout the traffic management.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
