What we are doing

​​Location​ 

​​​A46 southbound near Stoneleigh​​.

Duration​ 

​​​Lane closure will be in place from 12am Saturday 6 June 2026 until 11pm Saturday 6 June 2026 on the southbound A46 near Stoneleigh​​.

 What we are doing​ 

We will be carrying out minor earthworks on the verge of A46 bridge.   

All our work is subject to final consent from National Highways. 

 ​​What to expect​  

​​An extension of existing Lane 1 closure and some minor delays to your journey.

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
