What we are doing
Construction of the realigned Manor Drive continues to complete the surfacing, reinstate the footway and kerb remedial works.

UPDATE: The duration for completing these works has been extended from Tuesday 5 May to Friday 10 July 2026.
What to expect
Tuesday 26 May to Friday 10 July 2026.
Traffic will be diverted onto the newly aligned section of Manor Drive with a lane closure in place for the duration of the extended work duration.
The lane closure will be in place 24/7. Our working hours will be from 7am to 8pm each weekday and Saturday’s from 7am to 4pm. In addition, there will be two full 24/7 periods when our team will be working continuously.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
