What we are doing
Location
Adjacent to the Broadwell Woods Residential Park and Burton Green village hall. (Please see map)
Duration
Monday 20 July to Friday 7 August 2026. Our working hours will be from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
What we are doing
As part of our maintenance work, we will be installing a new post and rail fence in two locations:
Location one, between the temporary Kenilworth Greenway fence and the site boundary of Broadwell Woods Residential Park boundary.
Location two, replacement of the existing post and wire fence with a new post and rail fence adjacent to Burton Green Village Hall.
What to expect
We will remove vegetation in the area between the existing temporary Kenilworth Greenway fence and the site boundary of the Broadwell Woods Rresidential Park. We will install Heras fencing with noise blankets and visual screening barriers to minimise any disturbance during the work.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
