One overnight closure on the southbound carriageway only from 9pm 1 June to 6am 2 June 2026

What we are doing
Traffic management is being installed to protect the workforce to install road signs following the successful reinstatement of the A38 carriageways.

These works are subject to consent

What to expect
Low level of noise from our works

HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
