Two overnight closures starting at 8pm each night and finishing at 6am each morning on both Monday 24 August and Tuesday 25 August.
What we are doing
Preparation works to install pre-cast concrete parapets to the viaducts spanning the A446 Lichfield Road.
What to expect
• A closure from the junction of Gorsey Lane to the junction with Marsh Lane, including Watton Lane.
• Low-level of noise from our machinery
• Update on any changes in advance.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
