What we are doing
We will be improving the verge ready for planting in the spring and completing some additional drainage work.
Location
Southbound slip road of the A46 at the Stoneleigh junction.
Duration
8pm – 6am overnight on Thursday 29 January, we will hold a contingency date of 12 February in case of adverse weather conditions.
What to expect
An overnight closure of the southbound slip road and minor disruption to your journey. There will be a fully signposted diversion in place.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
