Lanes 1 and 2 will be closed each night from 9:00pm to 6:00am on the following dates:
• Wednesday 1 July
• Thursday 2 July
• Friday 3 July
• Tuesday 7 July
• Wednesday 8 July
What we are doing
This marks the completion of the revised traffic management arrangements for the construction of wall 3 on the M42 Triple Box. Once complete there will be a new (temporary) slip road for the M6 southbound traffic to merge with the M42 southbound at this location.
What to expect
Low level of noise from our machinery. The M6 M42 Eastbound link road will be closed by National Highways on these dates. This work is subject to consent with National Highways.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
