What we are doing

A429 Kenilworth Road, Kenilworth
Duration
From Monday 7 September to Friday 25 September 2026, temporary traffic lights will be in place on the A429 Kenilworth Road. They will operate from 7:00 pm till 5:30 am each night.
What we are doing
We will be removing the plant crossing and completing the footpath.
Phase 1: Monday 7 to Friday 11 September footpath works
Phase 2: Monday 14 to Friday 25 September, plant crossing removal
We will be working overnight on the weekend of the 19 and 20 September
What to expect
Two-way temporary traffic lights. Access for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
