What we are doing
As part of the ongoing Aston Church Road works, we need to keep a lane closed continuously and also partial sections of A47 Heartlands Parkway closed throughout the Spring from 8.00pm to 6.00am. We also need to resurface the A47/ Aston Church Road roundabout. This will be done over two weekends and requires 24/7 closures of the roundabout.
These closures will be as follows:
Friday 17 April from 10.00pm to Monday 20 April at 5.30am
Friday 24 April Friday from 10.00pm to Monday 27 April at 5.30am
What to expect
Lane closures on A47 Heartlands Parkway.
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
