What we are doing
We are temporarily closing and diverting the bridleway to allow for the construction of the new bridleway alignment. Once this work is complete, the bridleway will reopen on its new, permanent alignment.

Bridleway TUW/9, located on the Turweston green overbridge, with its location detailed on the map on page 2.

What to expect
Full closure 24/7 with a diversion in place
HS2 is undergoing a comprehensive reset to ensure it can be built efficiently and for the lowest reasonable cost. This work is being carried out in stages and will be completed in 2026. We will provide you with updates on the reset and what this means for our plans to build the railway in your area.
